This software is not a remote desktop replacement, it only allows you to reproduce mouse and keyboard inputs, not the screen. So really, it's only useful when you have two computers right next to each other (both with screens). If you are trying to do something else that I'm not thinking of, you could hook it up with a virtual LAN using software like Hamachi. Not sure why you would want to do that.
